Every year on January 1st, we make commitments to do better. We declare lofty intentions, promise to stick with them – and then beat ourselves up when we fail. The hell with that!
In 2018, I encourage you to opt out of resolutions and take a more-day-to-day approach to your goals: a slow-and-steady path with room for inevitable missteps (and plenty of self-kindness). Because this is how meaningful change really happens, by making small sustainable tweaks that eventually add up to an overall healthier lifestyle.
The tweaks don’t gel overnight of course. They take time to set in. When our brain creates a new habit, it creates a new neural pathway which gets thicker and thicker, to the point that the behavior becomes ingrained and you hardly need to think about it.
With that in mind, I invite you to join me this coming Wednesday, 1/24 at 7:30 pm for the 1st of 10 upcoming live educational seminars I will be hosting with 4 other health experts. Each week, we will give you practical tips and tools to use in your daily lives for a strong immune system, vitality through the day, and a healthy body, mind and spirit.

January 24th, 2018 – Pillars to Health: An Overview

“If you are traveling with children, put your own mask on first before helping others.” That’s the preflight safety speech we hear when traveling on a commercial airline. How do you apply that principle to your everyday life?

If you are not taking care of yourself first, whether it be physically, emotionally and spiritually, how long will you be around to take care of everyone? What if, you are also taking care of an aging parent? A business? Employees?

Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner & Nutritionist Isabelle Simon, M.A., C.N. will share an overview of the 10 “Pillars to Health” that are the foundation for a healthy body, a strong immune system and vitality through the day.
