A light bulb has gone off over the last few days. Isabelle, you were right! I finally have found an answer to A LOT of my problems. GLUTEN!!! I’ve never tried to eliminate gluten from my diet, nor has any medical “professional” before you suggested that my diet was causing me all these problems or at least making them worse. I never got a diagnosis, just a lot of prescriptions and “oh wells”. Maybe because I was never overweight, they didn’t think my diet was an issue. But based on my father’s medical history (colitis, removal of gall bladder) and conditions we both have (chronic pain, eczema, psoriasis, etc) I decided to take your advice & looked into how gluten can affect people. Even though I have “cheated” a couple times on the program – it’s been gluten free (i.e. GF pizza w/ veggies – no meat, GF free, soy-free, dairy free cookies). I have tried to eliminate dairy before, but I never really noticed a huge difference. But for several days now, I can bend and un-bend my knees, get up from sitting, and sit for long periods of time without my knees feeling like they are going to explode. This menstrual cycle, I didn’t even have to take anything for pain and I didn’t even have the terrible night sweats that I normally have. This program has made me so much more aware of what I’m eating and how it’s affecting me, more than just my weight going up or down. Anyway, I just wanted to share that because I am grateful for you knowledge, expertise and willingness to educate people like, so that we can live a healthier and happier life.
