My wife and I did a grocery store session with Board Certified Nutritionist Isabelle Simon. She taught us what to look for on food labels in order to avoid harmful chemicals that damage our health. Her phrase "food is not the enemy, chemicals are" stays with me every time I go to the store now. As a financial advisor, this is by far one of the best investments I've ever made for myself and my family!
After having 2 children in the course of 3 years, I found myself extremely fatigued, depressed, overweight, and not loving life the way I once had. During both pregnancies I was diagnosed as anemic, but during my second, the anemia did not improve with iron supplementation and further testing proved I was significantly B12 deficient. Once my daughter was born and my fatigue (and a whole host of other symptoms) did not improve, I decided to sit down with Isabelle and have blood work run to see what was really going wrong. Turns out, the simpler question to answer was what was going right! The years of putting my needs second to my children was really catching up with me. Malnourishment, dehydration, and stress left me severely vitamin deficient, with high cholesterol, a liver and pancreas BEGGING for mercy, significant cell oxidation, and well on my way to a state of disease.
After discussing my results with Isabelle and laying out a game plan, I became dedicated to getting well. It has only been a few weeks, but I feel exponentially better. I don't slog through each day, trying to survive between the 2 cups of coffee nursing allows. I wake up with the energy to hit the gym, be an active and attentive stay at home mom to 2, both still in diapers, and still have energy to be a good wife.
Isabelle was able to clearly and simply explain my blood results in a way that was not only simple to understand, but also demonstrated her expansive knowledge of nutritional science. Anyone can look at blood work and tell you if the results are within the normal range, but Isabelle was able to tell me where within normal I specifically should be and explain how the results actually reflect the improper function within my body.
I was particularly impressed by Isabelle’s ability to tie all of my results together and explain the interplay of vitamins, minerals, and organ function. I feel so much smarter just for having listened to her.
I still have quite away to go, but I’m excited to continue on my journey with Isabelle. Her recommendations are so easy to live by and I know that following her suggestions will result in a longer, happier, and healthier life.
I am a busy college student. I was suffering from a terrible rash, low energy, and just wasn’t feeling well. Since working with Board Certified Nutritionist Isabelle Simon, my skin rash has gone away, and my energy has been renewed. I also learned about the importance of reading food labels, and giving my body the nutrients that it needs. Reach out to Isabelle directly and find out how she can help you improve your health through a personalized care plan and proper nutrition.
"All I can say is "wow!" I participated in a group "cleanse" with Isabelle. My purpose was to see if I felt any better and if I lost some weight along the way, great. After the cleanse I felt better than I had in years. Renewed energy and purpose. Even lost 14 pounds. But more importantly, Isabelle provided me with a food education. I understood what "real" food was and how important eating real food was to my health. Good health = Good nutrition. Thanks Isabelle!"
I'm a single dad of 2 sons and owner of All Seasons Plumbing in St. Petersburg, F. I needed help with my health. In just 3 sessions with my nutritionist Isabelle Simon, I got the tools & education I needed to navigate the maze of food labels, and how to make a healthy meal for myself and my family.
I have had the pleasure of working with Isabelle for over 5 years. Her knowledge and passion for nutrition and helping her clients is undeniable. She walks the talk, practicing a comprehensive and holistic wellness approach when working with people. She is very involved in the community and in local workplaces, providing on-site employee wellness programs to help reduce health care costs. She does not recommend diets, calorie counting or extreme measures. Rather, she teaches her clients the no-non-sense, practical and realistic tools they need to become proficient in restructuring their meals and food combinations for reaching their health goals.
